Back from Barcelona!

Hey everyone! So I'm back from my short trip in Barcelona and I had an absolutely fantastic time! I went with my boyfriend and we stayed there for 3 nights and 4 days. We took lots of pictures and I thought I would share a few of my favourites with you :)

chilling by the hotel pool. the weather was amazing.

slightly over-bronzed. whoops! hehe.

happy!

oh and I went to Sephora for the first time ever!

totally random

make-up heaven!

Now, onto the make-up I brought with me for the duration of the trip:

Foundation: my trusty HG Diorskin Nude

Concealers: my usual Benefit Erase Paste and MAC Studio Sculpt

Setting powder: MAC MSF Natural in medium, applied with my Bobbi Brown kabuki brush

Eyeshadow primer: sample size Too Faced Shadow Insurance

Eyeshadows: NARS Cairo and MAC Brule to blend out, both applied with my Clinique eyeshadow blending brush

Eyebrow pencil: Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil in dark brown

Eyeliner: Rimmel Soft Kohl Kajal Eyeliner in black, set with MAC Carbon eyeshadow, which is applied with my Body Shop eyeshadow brush

Brow highlighter: Benefit Eyebright

Eyelash curler: Shiseido Macquillage

Mascara: Diorshow Iconic

Bronzer: Prestige sunbaked minerals in rich bronze, applied with my ELF contour brush

Blush: MAC Soft Rose cream colour base, applied with fingers!

Onto my Sephora and duty-free purchases!

Make Up For Ever HD foundation - from Sephora
Dior 5 couleurs iridescent eyeshadow palette in Earth Reflections - from duty-free at the Barcelona airport

The colours are:
1. Light gold
2. Taupey grey brown
3. Light pink
4. Cool-toned dark brown
5. Light cream/ off-white

All of these eyeshadows are very shimmery and very soft and amazingly blendable. They're the most easily blendable eyeshadows I have ever used. For the past two days I have been using the taupey grey brown colour all over my lids, and it's just a breeze to apply! I am really happy with this palette. It costs 44.50 euros, so each eyeshadow is around the same price as a MAC eyeshadow.

the colours swatched on my hand

The MUFE HD foundation swatched on the right half of my hand and blended out.

I'm disappointed with this foundation. It feels silicone-y when applied to my face, and doesn't feel as comfortable or light as my Dior foundation. Within a few hours I start feeling extra oily, something that never happens with my Dior foundation, and the coverage isn't as good as Dior, I would say it's light-medium. The only good thing about this MUFE foundation is that it's a perfect match for my skin tone. I'm the colour 120.

I'm thinking of either selling this foundation or swapping it on Makeup Alley. If any of you are interested in purchasing this foundation from me, I'll be selling it for £25 initially (US$40), and maybe for less if needed. I have only used this once, and I bought it for £27 (US$45).
