Nails Nails Nails!

I repainted my nails again! I'm currently sporting a bright coral shade by Sasa (a Hong Kong based drugstore).

GAH!! Look how pale I am!! I'm hoping to get more tanned this summer... I'm well aware that coral polish looks way better on tanned skin!

I received these Zoya polishes in a swap. Both creamy, pastel ice cream shades. Right on trend! The purple one is Malia and the blue one is Yummy. They're both very creamy and opaque. Lovely!

I'm currently sporting Malia on my toes.

Sorry if you didn't wanna see that! Haha! But it's a lovely colour :)

The Body Shop Goodies

Shimmer Cubes in Warm

They pop out individually and each has a plastic cap to cover it, which I think is genius, since it means that you can take them individually for travel.

Clockwise from left: Honeycomb, Dark Chocolate, Choc Chip, Marshmallow.

Eye Definer in Glowing Amethyst

This is a shimmery dark purple eyeliner, and I got it mainly to use on my lower lash line for a pop of colour. It goes on very smoothly and is quite creamy.

It has hints of brown in it, which makes is quite neutral and very wearable.

Radiant Highlighter in Pink

I have wanted to pick up one of these for a while now. I originally wanted the peach one, but this one really gives a nice, bright glow. There was a bronze one as well, but that didn't show up on my skin very much.

I think it's a great idea to use a cream highlighter in the Spring and Summer as it will look more natural and less cakey than a powder highlighter.

The Body Shop is doing a 3 for 2 promotion at the moment, which is why I picked up 3 products. Be sure to check their make-up line out if you get the chance, because the quality is very good. Many people forget that they have make-up!

Cheeks: NARS Penny Lane cream blush (love this!!)

Nails of the Week

ASOS Paint by Ciate in Sienna + Barry M Holographic Glitter

As you can see, Sienna is a beautiful purple-grey-brown colour that looks different in different lighting. It's really creamy and easily applied. I really recommend the ASOS by Ciate nail polishes. I've just put the Barry M holographic glitter on the second nails. I'm channeling a Lorraine nail right now! Love it.

Check out my youtube video on my nail polish collection!:

Have a lovely Thursday! xxx

Collective Haul

I have amassed quite a few goodies over the past few weeks! Ranging from goodies from Barcelona, to good ol' Topshop, Primark and River Island and last but not least a couple make-up goodies from NARS and Rimmel.

River Island

I love the little bows in the middle, on either side of the buttons!

Cute patchwork shorts! Love 'em.

Pretty floral scarf with sequins at the bottom <3

I've wanted these ballet flats for a loooong time and finally picked them up. They were only £16. Bargain!

Darling little robot necklace.

I love mushrooms and bows so naturally I got this set of earrings! The white rose earrings are really cute too.

Bundle of rope bracelets with gold beads and hansa hand.

Love ring with little diamantes on the heart!

Gogo Phillips vintage gold bracelet. So delicate!

These shirts are really lightweight and perfect for summer. I also love the brown braided belts they come with. They're removable so you can use them elsewhere as well.

Sfera (Spanish brand - got these in Barcelona)

I'm loving my florals at the moment! Can you tell? Haha.

This will be lovely for nights out, with simple black tops and the like.

Gold circular stud earrings with medium brown diamantes. I love the Anthropologie tags. So 'hipster' haha. They've just opened a massive store in London, on Regent Street. It's 4 stories tall and so pretty inside... I felt like I was in a really pretty jungle haha. Check it out if you haven't already!

Penny Lane cream blush. So so pretty and so creamy and easily blendable. I love it and have been wearing it everyday since I got it. It gives the nicest natural flush/glow to the cheeks, and looks like you're lit from within. Doesn't look cakey at all, even though it's a cream to powder formula. I'm really tempted to pick up Cactus Flower now! Another one of the NARS cream blushes.

Rimmel mousse eyeshadow in Sassy. This is more liquid than a mousse and is so easy to apply. It literally takes about 5 seconds for each eye, applied with a finger. Minimal blending is required, as it naturally fades out at the edges. I love this colour as well - as very neutral metallic light grey-taupe. Perfect for those lazy days or days when you're in a rush and want a quick and subtle wash of colour on the lids.

That's all folks!! A bit longer than usual but hope you enjoyed. Please check out my youtube channel if you're interested in beauty and fashion vlogs:

OPI's Jade is the New Black

I picked up this nail polish last week, along with two other OPI colours. I really like OPI's formula... really smooth, opaque and shiny.

Wednesday, April 14, 2010

Today I got made up just for my youtube video, LOL! If you're interested in checking out my beauty videos, the link to my youtube channel is here:

Anyway, onto my FAYCE! :P

I used MAC's Parfait Amour all over the lid, and Satin Taupe in the crease. My blush is MAC's Soft Rose cream colour base, MAC's Rhapsody In Two as a highlight, and I have Maybelline's Moisture Renew lipstick in Pinky Beige on my lips.

EOTD and My Bronzers

Eye of the Day (EOTD)

Today I went with a simple eye with Barry M dazzle dust in mushroom. In order to get this to stick onto your eyelid, you need to use a good base/ eyeshadow primer like Too Faced Shadow Insurance. I also wet my brush with Avene mineral water face mist to help it grab onto the dazzle dust.

My Bronzers

Benefit 10

This is probably my favourite bronzer of the three I own. One side is a highlighter and the other is the bronzer. It's a medium brown and quite shimmery, providing you with that healthy glow.

NARS Laguna

I have NARS Laguna bronzer in their blush and bronzer duo with Orgasm blush. This bronzer is mostly matte and also a medium brown. Because it's matte, it's probably the most natural looking, but won't give you that glow.

Prestige mineral bronzer in Rich Bronze

This is a bronzer I have posted about before. It has a taupe-brown base with golden veins running through it. This is very shimmery and comes out with a slight orange tinge. I like to use this bronzer when I want to look especially sun-kissed.

From left to right: NARS Laguna, Prestige and Benefit 10

As you can see, NARS Laguna is the most matte and true brown. Prestige is slightly orange and quite shimmery, and Benefit 10 is the most shimmery and golden.

I hope this post was helpful to those of you looking for a new summer bronzer!
